Aftercare
Leave That Bandage Alone until indicated by Ricardo!
Bandages keep out air-born bacteria from invading your wound. Yes, your tattoo is a wound.
Leave the bandage on for a minimum of two hours or if told, keep on overnight.
wash your hands before touching your tattoo!! Use lukewarm water and mild soap to gently wash away any ointment, blood and/or plasma.
Use your hand to clean and do not use a washcloth or anything abrasive.
Pat (do not rub) the area with a clean paper towel.
but do not apply neosporin, prep. H, or other ointments to the skin.
use a fragrance free hand lotion for your aftercare. (example brands are lubriderm, curel, or aquaphor)
After a few day, you will notice peeling or scabbing. Do not pick off scabs or peels as it can pull out color
Showering is fine, just do not soak you tattoo
no swimming, hot tubs, or baths for 2 weeks or until your tattoo is healed
